'I don't want to make depressing films for my fans'—Salman Khan

Mumbai, January 09 -- Bollywood brat Salman Khan has said in an interview that he does not want to make depressing films for his fans.

Last year, Salman was only able to give audiences one pleasing hit--“Wanted”, which was also quite surprising since the movie was directed by debutante director Prabhu deva.

Rani Mukherjee in trouble for wearing a ‘patka’

Mumbai, September 3 -- Grapevine has it that the Sikh community is hurt by Rani Mukherjee as she is wearing an improper turban in her upcoming film, ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’, produced by the Yash Raj films.

In the film, Rani dons the role of a young Sikh boy who is also a sportsperson. The Sikhs are annoyed with the fact that Rani dons a patka instead of a pagdi even when her character is an adult. Also, the use of ‘patka’ sign in the letter 'I', rather than a dot, in the title Hadippa has annoyed them.

However, the filmmakers have assured the President of Punjabi Cultural And Heritage Board Charan Singh Sapra that necessary action would be taken in this regard.
