Mumbai, June 17: "Do Knot Disturb" by David Dhawan has a lot going for it as far as reunions go. Not only does it carry forward his partnership with favourite actor Govinda, but it also marks the director's coming together with producer Vashu Bhagnani after four years.

"Vashu, Govinda and I have been a team for years now. Our motive has always been to entertain people. And what better way to do that than to make them laugh. Our track record over the years pretty much demonstrates that," Dhawan, who is collaborating with Bhagnani four years after the release of "Shaadi No. 1", told IANS.

Hugely promoted 'Kal Kissne Dekha' gets dull opening

New Delhi, June 15: Vashu Bhagnani went the whole hog to promote his son's launch vehicle "Kal Kissne Dekha" but it has been given the cold-shoulder by audiences despite the fact that it was released after a long dry spell at the box office.

Released Friday, the film has failed to draw audiences to the theaters and is on the verge of sinking, if not kept going by word-of-mouth, say industry insiders.

"The film is not really bringing in audiences. Despite it being a masala project, the viewers are not ready to shell out time for newcomers. I guess we'll have to wait for a starry release like 'New York'," Sakshi Mehra, an exhibitor and president of the Motion Pictures Association of Delhi-Uttar Pradesh, told IANS.

Govinda and David Dhawan are back with “Do knot disturb”

Bollywood’s king of comedy Govinda and super hit comedy film maker David Dhawan are back again with another laugh riot film “Do knot disturb”. The film also stars finest comic talent from bollywood- Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta, Sushmita Sen, Sohail Khan, Ranvir Sheorey and Rajpal Yadav and also produced by well known producer Vashu Bhagnani.

The first look of the film was unveiled at the IIFA 2009, being held at China’s coastal island at Macau. Govinda and David Dhawan have made 16 films together and their last film was the blockbuster “Partner”. So, “Do knot disturb” also marks the coming together of the Super Hit Comedy Jodi No. 1 of David Dhawan and Govinda after a gap of two years.

'Kal Kissne Dekha' - of love and supernatural powers

New Delhi, June 8 "Kal Kissne Dekha", producer Vashu Bhagnani's launch pad for his son Jackky, is the first film to roll out from the Bollywood stables after the resolution of the revenue-sharing row between producers and multiplex owners, ending the dry spell at the box office.

Directed by Vivek Sharma, the film also stars actress Vaishali Desai and has Rishi Kapoor in a pivotal role.

"Kal Kissne Dekha" is the story of Nihal Singh, a young boy from Chandigarh who wants to be a scientist and makes it to Mumbai for further studies. But he is gifted - he has supernatural powers to see the future, which is revealed when he tries to save his lady love Meesha (Vaishali) after he has a vision about her being in danger.

His secret unravels in front of the media and he is manipulated because of his special powers.
