Rihanna back in studio as Chris Brown struggles to cope

London, April 15: Singer Chris Brown, who was in the news recently for allegedly beating his then girlfriend singer Rihanna, is still depressed, but Rihanna is working on a new album.

Rihanna is in the studio in Santa Monica working on her new album. But her ex Chris Brown is said to be a "mess", reports mirror.co.uk.

Friends of the R&B singer say he is finding it difficult to handle the bad publicity he received because of the court case. He pleeaded not guilty to assault and threats in connection with the alleged attack on Rihanna.

A source said: "Chris is a mess. He is in depression and almost got his butt kicked a week ago... But Rihanna seems determined to move on."

London, April 14: The new woman in disgraced R&B star Chris Brown's life insists the Kiss Kiss singer is "a gentleman".

Just one week after pleading not guilty to allegedly assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna, Brown was spotted in Los Angeles with US reality show star Natalie Mejia, reports contactmusic.com.

The dancer, who starred in "Pussycat Dolls", said: "Things are going well between us... (He) has treated me like a gentleman at all times actually and there are no complaints."

I did not assault Rihanna, says singer Chris Brown

London, April 7 Singer Chris Brown has pleaded not guilty to two felony charges after his alleged fight with ex-girlfriend Rihanna in February.

The R&B star showed up at Los Angeles County Court on April 6 with his lawyer Mark Geragos. He stood silent as Geragos quickly discussed the case with the judge, who set a preliminary hearing for April 29, reported contactmusic.com.

Brown was charged with two felonies - assault and making criminal threats.

Outside court, singer Rihanna's attorney, Donald Etra, reiterated promises that his client will do "everything that the law requires her to do. She would be pleased if this was over quickly".
