Karan's recent success bash, organized after he won the Best Director for 'My Name Is Khan' at the 56th Idea Filmfare Awards, has again hit the bull's eye for the unexpected patch-up between Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone.

And surprisingly, it was Ranbir's ex, Deepika, who stepped forward, and mended fences with Ranbir's current beau, Katrina Kaif.

Grapevine has it that the stunning B-town actress Deepika, who happens to be a great admirer of Rajinikanth, when approached by the filmmakers, liked the script a lot and took no time in giving a green signal for it.

When asked about the authenticity of the news, a source said, "Deepika has been offered the film and a meeting with its producers also went off well. The film has Rajnikanth in a double role. The makers felt that Deepika was perfect for the lead role and that she would fit the character very well.”

Deepika Padukone spotted socializing Siddharth Mallya

According to latest tabloid buzz, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was spotted socializing with industrialist Vijay Mallya’s son Siddharth Mallya during IPL matches in Bangalore.

Deepika, who came to the venue to support Vijay Mallya’s team Royal Challengers, bonded pretty well with Siddharth Mallya. Throughout the match both chatted animatedly to each other and also left together afterward.

Reportedly, when Royal Challengers defeated Kings XI Punjab, Siddharth jumped with joy and said to Deepika, “You are my lucky mascot. I will get you a big gift tonight."

Siddharth was also heard asking Deepika to show up at all Royal Challengers matches.
