As per box-office figures, the Shahid-Sonam starrer has grossed around 9 crore on day 1.
Talking high about his soon-to-be released film, male protagonist Shahid Kapoor, recently in a one-to-one with a daily, stated that ‘Mausam’, which has been directed by his father Pankaj Kapur, is an awesome movie.
“This film is awesome. It was very challenging for me from a performance point of view,” Shahid told the daily.
Apparently, the film is so special for the actor that he didn’t sign any other project until he had wrapped up the shooting for his father’s directorial debut.
Apparently, Shahid himself informed the shutterbugs at a radio station in Mumbai that he will be portraying three different characters in the upcoming Kunal Kohli’s yet untitled film, for which he has been shooting in London.
Shahid, as quoted in IANS, said, "I don't want to speak much about the film but it has three different characters.”
The film also stars Shahid alleged ex-girlfriend Priyanka Chopra opposite him.
The ‘Mausam’ hero Shahid Kapoor recently took to Twitter to announce that he is all done with the shooting of the film.
