One of the highlights of 'Dabangg' had been the stylized double dose of action and complete dialogues, dramabaazi with lead protagonist Salman playing the part of the fearless corrupt cop Chubul Pandey. Interestingly now for the sequel to the 2010 action film, Bollywood’s bankable star would be seen reprising the same commanding avatar.

OMG sequel is already on the cards!

Recent release Oh My God imprisoned a lasting impact in viewers hearts. Paresh's compelling performance and Akshay's pristine act of God have been appreciated all over. Elated with the response, the makers are looking forward to shape a sequel that does justice to the current film.

Director Umesh Shukla admits scripting a sequel. He says, "Yes, there is a scope for the sequel. In fact, me and the writer have started scripting for it...let's see how it moves. Akshay Kumar and Paresh are also keen about it, but let's see."

Strings to compose music for Shootout sequel

They had composed the hit song ‘Aakhri Alvia’ for ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’ in 2007 but Bilal Maqsood and Faisal Kapadia, the band members, had to leave the country following the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

“This is going to be a dream project. As composers, we always want to challenge ourselves to explore new musical spaces. Now, we have a chance to do so. Since we are doing most of the film’s songs, the canvas is huge,” bands lead singer Kapadia said.

Salman Khan to portray villainous role in 'Mr. India 2'?

Scuttlebutt has it that the 'Dabangg' star, Salman will soon be seen enacting villainous role in the sequel to the 1987 blockbuster film, 'Mr. India'.

Produced by Boney Kapoor, 'Mr. India 2' will feature Anil Kapoor and Sridevi in the lead roles.

Besides, reports have it that Boney Kapoor is planning to shoot the film in 3D.

Shahrukh Khan turning villain for ‘Krrish 2’?

"Shah Rukh and Hrithik are the best of pals in the industry today. It was but natural for Rakesh to etch a role in his son's flick for his buddy as well. SRK's character in the film will have shades of gray to it,” revealed an insider familiar with the matter.

As per sources, this on-screen collaboration was expected, considering that Shahrukh and Hrithik have become close friends with each other in the past few months.

Interestingly, when Hrithik debuted in Bollywood, he was pitched as SRK’s contender in the industry.
