Rajinikanth and family miffed with Salman

Gossipmongers have suggested that Salman’s brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri, who is planning making Rajinikanth’s biopic and is considering the ‘Bodyguard’ hero for the lead role, didn’t even care to contact the South legend and his family to discuss about the venture, and this is what irked Rajini and his family.

According to tabloid reports, the ‘Bodyguard’ hero said that excessive traveling and the operation for his painful nerve disorder has left him completely worn-out.

No action for Salman for a while!

Reportedly, the ‘Bodyguard’ star, who is on his road to recovery after undergoing a surgery for his painful nerve disorder in U.S., has been advised by his doctors to shun stunts and action sequences till he gets completely cured.

Talking about the doctors’ instructions, Salman, who will be heading to Dublin for the shooting of YRF’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ soon, in a conversation with TOI over phone, said, "I had to show them (doctors) the kind of action required in my films and they told me to avoid it.''

Salman’s ‘Bodyguard’ grosses 37 crore plus in just 2 days

According to box-office reports, the recently released Salman-Kareena starrer has successfully managed to gross around 21 crore on the opening day and nearly 16 crore plus on the second day, thereby taking the nett collection to 37 crore plus in just two days.

Citing the reason why he is a difficult person, the superstar said that as he goes to sleep late at night and wakes up early in the morning, and as he neither goes for dinners nor does he gift flowers, chocolates or cards, one finds it hard to be in a relationship with him.

When asked if he is a difficult person, Sallu told the daily, “Ya I am. I wake up early in the morning and sleep late at night. I don't go out for dinners that much. No flowers, chocolates, cards – I can't get myself to do those things, so I guess I'm difficult.”

Salman to fly to US for jaw surgery

As per tabloids, the superstar, who is suffering from trigeminal neuralgia, had earlier planned to go the foreign country for the surgical treatment after celebrating Ganesh puja and Eid with his near and dear ones in India.

However, as the pain is becoming worse day by day, the actor has changed his plan, and is now going to the United States tomorrow, Aug. 27.

Talking about his suffering, Salman, as quoted in TOI, said, "The pain is unbearable, hence I am flying out earlier."

Anna’s supporters demand action against Salman

Just before the release of his much-awaited flick ‘Bodyguard’, Salman has landed himself in trouble by messing up with social activist Anna Hazare’s supporters.

Reportedly, after Salman’s bodyguards bashed up Anna’s supporters who were trying to reach out to him, on Wednesday night, the hurt anti-corruption activists have lodged a complaint against the superstar and his bodyguards at the Kakadeo police today, demanding an action against them.

It’s learnt that members of the Anna Hazare Fans Club have even burnt an effigy and posters of Salman, to express their resentment for the actor and his bodyguards.

Salman, Shahrukh at war again!

When the ‘Bodyguard’ producer, Reliance, tried to convince the superstar for having the promos of Shahrukh’s film stating that both ‘Don 2’ and ‘Bodyguard’ are their ventures, Sallu reacted sharply to them by saying that ‘Bodyguard’ is his project too.

A source close to the ‘Bodyguard’ unit told Mumbai Mirror, "Salman and SRK are not friends. It was obvious that Salman will not want the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan's film attached to Bodyguard. Salman would have said 'No' even if he had a guest appearance in the film. His war with SRK is far from over.”

Salman plays young fan’s bodyguard!

Reportedly, when Salman was shooting for an action-sequence for his upcoming film ‘Bodyguard’, a kid, who is an ardent fan of Salman and who lived nearby the shoot location, made it to the sets of the film to meet his idol.

The kid not only wanted to meet Salman, but he also had the wish that the actor should play his bodyguard and take him on a bike ride.

Apparently, the bike which the kid had brought with him to the sets was a toy bike which runs on battery.
