“Karan wanted one of his favorite directors Sanjay Leela Bhansali to be on ‘Koffee With Karan’ with leading man Hrithik on the eve of the release of Guzaarish. But this fell through,” revealed a source familiar with the matter.
Apparently, the actor and the filmmaker had agreed to appear on the show just before the release of their upcoming film ‘Guzaarish’ on Nov. 19.
However, for some unknown reason, neither Sanjay nor Hrithik turned up for the shooting of the episode.
It’s learnt that the film will be a comic caper and Shetty wants Salman on board to star with his favorite actor and friend Ajay Devgan.
“I talk to Saif and my family. Saif is extremely supporting and he jokes that marriage is a taboo in our film industry,” said the A-list actress.
The duo will be exchanging vows in the presence of close family and friends at the Alva residence in Hebbal.
As per insiders familiar with the matter, Kareena, who’s very busy with the promotional work of her soon-to-be released comedy flick ‘Golmaal 3’ these days, decided not to skip the fast this year due to work.
