John Abraham and Genelia’s ‘Force’ has been in news ever since its promos first hit the television sets and the film seems to have done well at the box office too.

According to reports, the film has seen a good opening and earned Rs 16 crore gross income in its opening weekend, throwing all other movies out of business.

The trend of remaking South Indian movies in Hindi has been catching on in Bollywood off late. The latest is Mahesh Babu’s Telegu blockbuster ‘Dookudu’, which has become a major hit.

The movie that has earned more than Rs 40 crore since its release just two weeks ago, has been in news as speculations on its Bollywood remake started doing the rounds even before the release.

Shyam Benegal wraps up 'Well Done Abba'

Veteran filmmaker Shyam Benegal is ready with his next venture "Well Done Abba", a satirical comedy that stars Boman Irani in a double role.

The film that is inspired by two short stories - "Narsaiyyan Ki Bavdi" by Jeelani Bano and "Phulwa Ka Pul" by Sanjeev - is produced by Big Pictures and also stars Minissha Lamba and Sammir Dattani in pivotal roles.

The story revolves around a driver working in Mumbai who takes a month's leave to find a husband for his teenage daughter, said a release from Big Pictures.

The film has been shot in Mumbai and Hyderabad.

He said, "Yes, we are bringing Jashn on 24th April. This is the release date that has been blocked. We plan our movies effectively and during the September 2008 launch itself, we had announced the film's arrival in April this year. So here we are".
