Khiladi 786: The Review

Credits:

Director: Ashish Mohan

Cast:Akshay Kumar, Asin, Himesh Reshammiya,Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Mishra, Raj Babbar, Mukesh Rishi.

Debutant director Ashish Mohan brings in all the clichéd formulas of some of Bollywood’s quintessential potboilers in ‘Khiladi 786’ that educes laughs, top action, music, rasping actors and ear-splitting loud-breaking background score, which has always been given the stamp of approval by the masses.

‘Khiladi 786’ feels to be a mind-numbing comic actioner that runs on similar lines as Salman’s Dabangg. The movie is exasperating, but sometimes works quite well for it’s a ludicrous fun from the beginning to the end. However, don’t look for any logic, you’ll find none.

Housefull 2: The Review

Credits:

Director: Sajid Khan

Cast: Akshay Kumar, Asin, Jacqueline Fernandez, John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Zarine Khan, Shazhan Padamsee, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Boman Irani, Chunky Pandey, Johny Lever, Ranjeet, Mithun Chakraborty

Sajid Khan‘s 'Housefull 2' is likeably cynical and utter confusion embellished with melodrama and comic gags .

The sequel brings in cheer till the end through its dose of comic possibilities and does serve fans with enough laugh-out-loud moments. It’s just as fun as its various trailers shown it to be. And unlike most comedy films that fizzle out half way through, this comedy franchise never ceases to become half baked fun but is flat-out crassly hilarious and slapstick.

I'm a very irritating actor: Mithun Chakraborty

New Delhi, June 3: He's been in showbiz for nearly three decades and has bagged three national awards, but multilingual star Mithun Chakraborty has no qualms confessing that he is an "irritating actor".

"I'm a very irritating actor. I keep on asking too many questions till I am satisfied with the answers. I have to be very clear-cut. If a director is not familiar with my working style, he is sure to go mad," Mithun, who is currently doing a children's comedy, told IANS in an interview.

"When you play a certain character then you have to be in it and I can't move forward until I know where the character is going in a film. There has to be uniformity throughout the film," said the 58-year-old, who won his first national award for his debut film "Mrigaya".
