Media, Entertainment Industry to boom in coming years

The stage is now set for the exponential expansion of the Media and Entertainment Industry in the next five years.

A FICCI-KPMG report shows that though in the previous year the industry suffered a slow down, this year around it will see an upside of investments in the digital delivery infrastructure.

Mumbai, February 11 -- Looks like the two political dynasties, Congress and Shiv Sena, are on the verge of another final showdown over the screening of the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘My Name Is Khan.’

However, on Wednesday, several theatre owners resumed their booking. After the vandalism in theatres, more than 100 Shiv Saniks are believed to have been arrested so far.

Indian, Russian films win Best Documentary & Best film awards

Mumbai, February 10 -- The 11th Mumbai International Film Festival of Documentary, Animation and Short Films saw Russian film ‘17 August’, and 'The Spell' winning awards for the Best Documentary and Best fiction.

The movie '17 August' has been directed by Alexander Gutman while 'The Spell' has been directed by Umesh Kulkarni.
