Coming from the ace director Ashutosh Gowariker, ‘What’s your Rashee’ is an impressive story that is based on Madhu Rye’s Gujarati novel ‘Kimball Ravenswood’.

Director: Ashutosh Gowariker
Star Cast: Priyanka Chopra, Harman Baweja, Darshan Jariwala, Pratik Dixit, Suzy Brack, Anjan Srivastav, Yuri Suri and others.
Music Director: Sohail Sen
Genre: Romantic Drama
Producer: Ronnie Screwala, Sunita Gowariker
The huge star cast of the film and Priyanka’s record-breaking 12 performances add to the appeal of this romantic drama that revolves around a young guy’s dream of finding his dream girl.
Yogesh Patel, played by Harman Baweja, always wanted a love marriage and marriage without love is simply out of question for him. But family circumstances and debts force him to get married within 10 days to claim his late grandfather’s property and save his family’s name and fame in the society.
Now, the peculiar situation is that the wedding date is fixed but the bride is missing from the equation. The story begins to take interesting turns from here. Yogesh decides to meet girls of all the 12 zodiac signs within these 10 days and then marry the most suitable from amongst these 12.
This is where Priyanka Chopra comes in the picture. She plays the 12 characters and Yogesh meets 2 girls daily so that he has some time to decide whom to marry finally.
So what happens when Yogesh meets all the 12 damsels? Whom does he finally choose, and is he able to save his family’s honour?
Priyanka does an outstanding job
Talking about the performances, Priyanka Chopra has done a great job in this movie and has arguably given her career’s best performance. The audiences love her and she has done justice to all the 12 characters.
Harman has also done a good job. He has obviously improved with time. But his choice of the perfect bride in the end does not do justice to his role, and his character fails to convince the audience.
Overall, ‘What’s your Rashee’ is an interesting movie, but its length that stretches beyond three hours fails to captivate the audience throughout the flick. Plus, the large number of characters leaves one slightly confused.
It is a time-pass movie that fails to create the spark of Ashutosh’s earlier blockbuster flicks but is watchable for all genres of people.
