Biography
Surinder Kapoor is a Bollywood film producer and was president of the Film & Television Producers Guild of India from 1995 to 2001. He is cousin of actor Raj Kapoor. His three sons, Boney, Anil and Sanjay, are also involved in the film industry. His daughter, Reena, is married to Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Films & Video Studios and the Asian Academy of Film & Television in Noida Film City, NOIDA.
He started his film career as a secretary to actress Geeta Bali.
Dada Saheb Phalke Academy has honoured the veteran producer with L.V. Prasad Phalke Award in 2009.
