Sanjay Kapoor is a Bollywood actor with a wealthy background in the acting discipline.
He was born on Oct. 17, 1965 at Mumbai. His father, Surinder Kapoor is a film producer.
Sanjay’s elder brothers, Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor are established actors of the B-Town. Reena, his sister, married Sandeep Marwah, the proprietor of Marwah Films and Video Studios. Sanjay tied the knot with Maheep, a model and a jewelry designer. They are blessed with a daughter, Shanaya and a son, Jahaan.
His acting career kicked off starring, alongside actress Tabu in ‘Prem’, which was a box office dud.
Sanjay got his first break with his second release ‘Raja’, opposite Madhuri Dixit. The movie turned out to be a blockbuster and Sanjay earned accolades for his performance in the movie.
Though the movie was a hit, Madhuri stole the thunder with her performance and as a result Sanjay did not receive many offers after this hit.
His portrayal of the husband with negative shades in the movie ‘Koi Mere Dil Se Poochche’, opposite Esha Deol was applauded by the critics. The movie was a box office ripper.
Sanjay was again made to play the role of an antagonist in the movie ‘Qayamat: City Under Threat’, which was also a swashbuckling hit.
Despite the fact that Sanjay is not an established actor as compared to his brothers, he has created a respectable name for himself in the tinsel town.
