Salman gets ready to play a baddie in 'Dhoom 4'?
Taking a cue from the latest reports, it’s heard that Yash Raj Films has roped in the ‘Bodyguard’ star Salman for the fourth installment of 'Dhoom'.
Interestingly even Salman has apparently expressed his will to be part of the series and has no qualms about portraying a negative character for the action film.
And it’s believed that Salman’s interest in the series was the reason why Aditya Chopra chose the actor for 'Ek Tha Tiger' with Katrina.
Also rumors has it that the production house is also keen to finalize the fifth franchise and it appears to be that filmmaker Aditya Chopra is planning to approach the King of Bollywood Shahrukh to play the villain.
Apart from these big superstars who are eager to be part of this action packed film, the film’s main stars Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra who were seen in the first and second installments will continue to be part of this popular franchise.
With Aamir’s 'Dhoom 3' which is slated to release in 2013. Aditya has roughed out a plan to release the fourth and fifth franchise in 2014 and 2015.
Speaking about the 'Dhoom' editions, a source stated, “Salman Khan wanted to work in a stylish action film. And Adi had discussed the possibility of 'Dhoom 4' with him. Salman had agreed. That's how they ended up working on 'Ek Tha Tiger'. The script of 'Dhoom 4' is already locked. The final draft is in process.”
Incidentally some of the insiders in the industry have stated that Salman and Shahrukh being part of the 'Dhoom' series is a false rumor and a figment of someone’s imagination, since Yash Chopra and Aditya have no plans to make the fourth and the fifth installments.
Now we’ll have to wait and watch for Salman to make an official announcement about doing the film. However speculations are rife that Aditya Chopra has no plans to make the fourth installment and it’s just figment of imagination.
