‘Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap’ sequel on cards!
It has become a Bollywood tradition now that every hit film needs to have a sequel and the Tollywood director is keen on spinning this idea after his debut Hindi film received rave reviews from the audiences.
It’s heard that after the release of the film, Puri had made a suggestion regarding the sequel, but the veteran actor still hasn’t agreed about the franchise and has left the choice with the director.
Confirming the news about the franchise, Puri Jagannath stated, “Yes, the ending was left open but we’d not thought of taking the story forward while shooting the film. But now, I’ll bring up the subject of Bbuddah 2 with Mr Bachchan (Amitabh). I don’t have a story yet but if he’s interested, we could get it rolling next year.”
The director further said that the ‘Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap’ franchise would be a wonderful idea and he will soon start working on it.
Puri to cast Sonu Sood for ‘Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap 2’
Puri has shown his interest in the ‘Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap’ franchise and apart from that the director is also planning to rope in Sonu Sood for the second installment of the film.
Puri, who is impressed with Sonu said that he finds the actor suitable for the role of the angry cop and is apt to play Amitabh’s son.

The Tollywood director is dwelling on the concept of making a sequel of ‘Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap’.
However, right now the main priority for him is to launch his new project, a bilingual film titled ‘The Business Man’ with the tagline ‘Guns Don't Need Agreements'.
For the Hindi version of the film, Junior Bachchan will be playing the lead and the Telugu edition will have Mahesh Babu playing the protagonist.
Informing about the second big project, Puri said, “It’ll have romance and action… And a Telugu version with Mahesh Babu, with whom I’d done Pokiri (2006) earlier, and Kajal Agarwal (she makes her Bollywood in Ajay Devgn’s Singham). We’ve still to finalise the heroine opposite Abhishek.”
