Like all Yash Raj films, this one too has some foot-tapping and jazzy numbers that have already become a rage with the music-buffs. The album is a total package of entertaining and melodious music.

Music composer Merchant duo has churned out a brilliant album consisting of seven original tracks and two remix versions. In all, there are nine songs in ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’.
Opening the album is ‘Ainvayi Ainvayi’, a fast, hip-hop song with a fusion of Punjabi rhythm that has been crooned by Salim Merchant and Sunidhi Chauhan.
Next in line is the ‘Dilli Club Mix’ that is a remixed edition of the opening track from singer Master Saleem. The song is the heartbeat of every disco station of the nation currently.
‘Tarkeebein’ is the third song of ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ and is also a nice and peppy number that has been sung by Benny Dayal and Salim Merchant. The tempo of this soundtrack keeps on changing and the beats give the song a completely different feel.
Following this is ‘Adha Ishq’, a solo and romantic track that has been sung by Shreya Ghoshal. Next is a Sufi track tilted ‘Dum Dum’, which is another brilliant song by Benny Dayal and Himani Kapoor.
Then there is a remix edition of the song which has Sukhwinder Singh. Next is a lengthy track called ‘Mitra’ that has been sung by Amitabh Bhattacharya and Salim Merchant.
Focusing on the theme of the movie is ‘Baari barsi’ sung by Harshdeep Kaur, Labh Janjua and Salim. The Punjabi tadka is eminent in this wedding song.
Winding up the album is the title track ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ by Salim and Shraddha Pandit. The song is mostly instrumental and the dance number is more like a theme song.
Overall, the music of this Yash Raj movie is a wholesome treat with something to offer to people listening to different genres of music.
