Aishwarya to exercise her vocal cords

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, is indeed a packet of surprises. After trying her lot in modeling and acting the Bollywood beauty is all set to display her singing talent.

The drop dead beauty has decided to lend her voice to a track for the music composers, Vishal and Shekhar. The Vishal-Shekhar duo has a close association with the Bachchan family. In the past, they had got the Junior Bachchan rapping a song on their tunes for the movie, “Bluffmaster”. The song had subsequently gone to become a great hit upon its release.

The duo seems to have convinced even the Big B, Amithbh Bachchan himself, to record a rap for his forthcoming movie, “Aladin”, so, it was naturally, Aishwarya’s turn next.

Although it appears that Aishwarya was extremely hesitant and reluctant in giving her consent for the same initially, she eventually did agree to the request. The assent came after a whole lot of coaxing and wheedling by Vishal and Shekhar.

Last year, Vishal and Shekhar were an integral part of the Unforgettable World tour of Aishwarya, Abishek and Amithbh. It must have been the bonding formed with the family during that tour that helped Vishal and Shekhar to convince Aishwarya to sing professionally.

Though, it has been rumored since long that Aishwarya is a good singer, it would be the first time that she displayed her aptitude for singing. That does not however mean that she is considering a shift in her profession. The profound actress is very fond of acting and intends sticking to it to win her bread and butter.

Although, Vishal and Shekhar are to get the recordings done pretty soon, they are still clueless as to where or how they would use the song. Whether it would become a part of a movie or an album, they are yet to decide upon. All that the duo knows is that they want to get the recordings done before the lovely lady can change her mind.

It will indeed be interesting to hear Aishwarya sing……..wouldn’t it?
