Aditya Pancholi has decided its pay back time. He is all set to do a film on his mentor Nari Hira, who was responsible for launching the actor into the Indian film industry a couple of decades ago.

Aditya, who has been in news, more for the wrong reasons than good, is staring in the movie ‘Raftaar 24/7’, which is based upon the life of the media baron Nari Hari and his quest for sensational news. ‘Raftaar 24/7’ is produced by Percept Pictures and is directed by Shamim Desai.

"I wouldn't say the role is a homage to Nari Hira. It's modeled on him. The stress on news-worthiness is what I've borrowed from him. The rest of the character's hunger for sensational headline is entirely fictitious," said Aditya while describing his character in the movie. He further added, “But yes we're living in an era of sensationalism. People are willing to do anything to be noticed.”

About three decades ago the actor had landed into some serious controversy for getting himself shot in the buff for a monthly magazine. Referring to the same incident the actor reacts, “Ya, what a sensation that created. It was for Rita Mehta in Cine Blitz. My family was scandalized. Some of them disowned me. And looking back, I think, I went a little too far.”

He further accepts that he would not like to do a nude photo shoot anymore. 'There's a daughter and there's a lovely wife at home I've to think of. I've to keep their dignity in mind,” he reasons out.

Also sharing the screen space along with Aditya, is the serial kisser, Imraan Hashmi. Aditya seems to be totally floored by Imraan’s acting skills, his professionalism and commitment.

"I play this media tycoon who invents news to keep his paper on the top. Emran Hashmi plays my protégé. And I must tell you I enjoyed working with him. He's so focused on his work. He does his work and doesn't bother with what others do," said an all gaga Aditya. And why not, after all both of them have an affinity towards controversies….

After a few initial hiccups, Aditya’s daughter, Sana, too is now ready to be launched. Let’s just hope that Sana has already had her lessons to be away from unnecessary hullabaloo.
