On its first Monday, "Hasee Toh Phasee" could rake in roughly ₹2.90 crore, and with this, overall collection touches INR 21.30 mark for the film.

After making a decent first weekend collection, Parineeti and Siddharth starrer film could only garner a small amount on Monday. With Gunday lined up for this week, there is too little to expect from the overall collection and now the eyes of the filmmakers would be on enveloping the expenditure and extracting a little profit.

Hasee Toh Phasee Budget and Expectations

High on critical acclaim, the film has not managed to bear fruits vis-a-vis to the trade expectations. It witnessed a good drop of 40 to 50 percent on Monday in comparison to the weekend. The film which has been made on a decent budget of INR 25 Crores needs to cross the mark to obliterate losses. The trade analysts are expecting that the film would cross this mark by the end of this week and may even generate some profits.

Jai Ho Journey

The other flicks released with Hasee Toh Phasee have not been faring well on Box Office. However, Jai Ho seems to have benefited a little from these films, thus, being dubbed as a semi-hit. On domestic front, Jai Ho has managed to rake in ₹113.28 crore.

Irrespective of new releases, Jai Ho is still running decently on Box Office, though this is much less than the hype created before the release. The film may have crossed the coveted 100-crore mark but it has not been dubbed as a hit, so we would prefer to call it a semi-hit. Because of tax-free status, the film earned well in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh in its third weekend.

Looking at the other landscape, Dhoom 3 has raked in INR 532 crores till now, both on Domestic as well overseas markets.

Jai Ho would eventually have a collection of INR 118 crore, which would place it in the same league as that of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh starrer "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela."

The earnings for Jai Ho would blur with the coming of Gunday this Valentine’s Day. Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor starrer Gunday, made under the banner of Yash Raj films, would bring down the screening of Jai Ho because of dearth of screen count. In case of distributors and Eros International, this venture has not turned out to be really good, however, Sohail Khan has garnered moolah through this film.
