It was sheer luck when veteran legend Amitabh Bachchan, while promoting his upcoming film ‘Aarakshan’ on the reality show X Factor, escaped a serious accident.

Reportedly, the 61 year old megastar, who had outshined young actors by his electrifying performance in ‘Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap’, missed a step while climbing up onto the sets on X Factor, lost his balance and slipped.

Big B almost banged his head after slipping, but luckily escaped a serious accident that could have taken place on the sets of the reality show.

Sharing the incident with his fans and well-wishers, senior Bachchan blogged, “Was on X Factor to promote #aarakshan ... lovely to meet up with SanjayLeela Bhansali .. and the wonder of talent in contestants ..

Slipped on the set of X Factor and almost broke my head .. but managed .. looked stupid .. but better a foolish slip than a slippery fool ..thats for me on the set of X Factor where I almost smashed my head, by missing a step !”

X Factor contestants paid tribute to Big B
As per tabloid reports, the contestants of X Factor paid a tribute to Mr. Bachchan, who had graced the show as a celebrity guest to promote his approaching flick ‘Aarakshan’.

After seeing the participants’ mind-blowing performances, Big B was too touched.

Articulating his joy, an elated Bachchan tweeted, “Delighted to be in company of such honest talent and see them do special numbers of my old films .. so humbling .. thank you X Factor.”
