Raj Thackeray eager to watch Ajay’s ‘Singham’

Rumor mills are working overtime that politician Raj Thackeray, founder and president of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), is eager to watch Ajay Devgan’s upcoming film ‘Singham’.

It’s learnt that as Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham’ highlights the commoners of Maharashtra and their problems, politician Raj Thackeray is keen to see how the people of his state are represented in the film.

The ‘Singham’ hero Ajay is doing everything possible to arrange a special screening for Raj, say sources.

A source, as quoted in Mid Day, said, "Raj Thackeray wants to watch the film, and Ajay is trying his best to arrange a special screening for him.”

"Since the film has really worked in Tamil, Raj Thackeray is keen to see how the janata in Maharashtra has been portrayed in the film," added the source.

Well, it’s speculated that as the film is chiefly about the clash between an honest police officer (played by Ajay) and the corrupt politicians, it may surely attract many other politicians besides Raj Thackeray.

Ajay to hold special screening of ‘Singham’ for Sallu, Sanjay
Buzz has it that besides holding a special screening for Raj Thackeray, Ajay may show his action flick exclusively to the families of his buddies Salman and Sanjay Dutt.

By arranging a special screening of ‘Singham’ for Raj, the makers of the film and Ajay are not trying to publicize their movie, reveals a source.

"This is not an attempt to publicise the film. But when a top politician in the city expresses his desire to watch it, you definitely have to respect that," stated the source.
