American songster Lady Gaga, well-known for her eccentric style statement, recently gave a treat to the gatherers at the CFDA Fashion Awards by stripping off to a transparent outfit.

As per the tabloids, Lady Gaga, who was conferred the prestigious Fashion Icon award at the CFDA Fashion Awards, held this Monday, out of the blue undressed herself at the after-party and posed for the shutterbugs in a see-through outfit, where only her nipples were covered by black tape.

The singer also crooned the song ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ along with the ‘Oh, People’ famed lyricist Patti Labelle, at the event.

The CFDA Fashion Awards is organized by the Council of Fashion Designers of America, annually, and this year it was held on Monday, June 6, in the New York City.

Reportedly, distinguished crooner Lady Gaga wanted to carry with her a rat to the CFDA Fashion Awards.

Gaga also revealed that with the rat, named Black Jesus, she wanted to pay a tribute to the New York City.

However, she couldn’t get the rat with her as she was not permitted to do so.

"I tried to bring a rat with me, as a tribute to New York City, but they wouldn't let [him] in," articulated Gaga.
