World Cup fever on in B-town

The whole nation has geared up to cheer the Indian cricket team this World Cup, and the Bollywood bigwigs are no exception.

Apparently, the tinsel town biggies are making the most of the social networking site Twitter, to articulate their thrill and ecstasy for the World Cup cricket tournament, going on these days.

Cheering team India and conveying a piece of advice to all men, the conman of ‘Tees Maar Khan’, Akshay Kumar tweeted, “Da Greatest Festival of evry Indian has finaly arrived' da Cricket World Cup' :) All da Best 2all da teams, especialy INDIA. Ps: Husbands do not neglect ur wives."

The ‘Patiala House’ fast-paced spinner Akki is, currently, busy with the making of his upcoming film ‘Joker' in Chandigarh.

The dusky bombshell Bipasha Basu also posted an encouraging message for the Indian team, on Twitter, which read as, “Big day today! India will win for sure! Wishing Mahi n his team to do the magic:) We want the Cup!!! Let's cheer for them (sic).”

Among the others, well-known actresses Dia Mirza and Neha Dhupia, who are quite busy with their hectic to-do lists, feel that they are missing all the fun of World Cup.

Dia’s Twitter post read as, “Too much happening with our shoot on right now. Going to miss watching all the world cup action! Keep me posted! INDIA! let's go for GLORY.”

Whereas, actor Jackky Bhagnani, who has been roped in for the forthcoming flick 'F.A.L.T.U.' and is up with its shooting at present, wrote on his Twitter page, “Jeetege bhai jeetege india jeetega! What's d score guys, I am dubbing!”

Apart from the actors and actresses, the World Cup fervor is being noticed amongst songsters too.

The excitement of the celebrated singer Asha Bhonsle can be made out from her post, which read as, "I don't know about you but I'll be glued to the idiot box this afternoon for 1st match of The World Cup. JAI HIND!"
