Recently, Prateik Babbar, son of veteran actors Raj Babbar and late Smita Patil, who debuted in Bollywood with 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na,' celebrated his 25th birthday in a popular lounge in Juhu. What followed that night was the least expected for the talented actor.

Though he was accompanied by just one friend, the actor announced that he would pay for eveybody's drinks there, but little did he knew that it'll cost him dearly.

Prateik's lavish birthday bash
Prateik, who turned 25 on this Nov. 28, went to celebrate his birthday with his friend at a nightclub in Juhu. A special musical evening was organised at the venue that day.

After a few drinks, Prateik quite generously announced that everyone's drink were on him.

After the party ended, he was shocked by the bill, a whooping 70,000 on just drinks. Prateik was left with no choice else pay the amount and hang around for some more time.

A source familiar with the matter said, “Pratik went to the Juhu lounge with one of his close friends, to watch a special sundown musical evening. But even after the musical event got over, Pratik and his friend decided to hang around at the same place. That’s when Pratik announced that the drinks were on him.

“However, the actor didn’t realise that the bill would shoot up to Rs. 70,000. Although Pratik was shocked on seeing the amount, he had no option but to pay the bill and hang around for a bit longer.”

When contacted, Pratik confirmed the news and said, “We went for a show and I decided to celebrate with everyone who was there. Since we had not planned anything on my birthday in advance, we did not have a reservation.”
