He is sporting the new look for his next venture from the Yash Raj banner and titled as ‘Rocket Singh’. He was on a self imposed house arrest till the release of the film in which he plays the main lead of a Sikh character.

Ranbir recently cancelled a performance at an International film awards ceremony in a bid to conceal his new look from the public and expose it only after the release of the movie. He made a quick exit to avoid the media but could not escape the media’s eye for long who succeeded in capturing his new look through their cameras.

Shimit Amin who directed ‘Chak De India’ is the director of this movie slated to release in December 2009. Ranbir Kapoor is all set to don a pagdi and lend in a typical Punjabi flavour in this movie in which he plays a young salesman.

Now it is left to see how well will his new sardarji look goes with his numerous female fans and how the movie with his different avatar fares at the Box-Office. Here’s wishing him ALL THE BEST!!
