STAR Plus has offered its support to educate deprived girls and announced Laadli Week from April 3 to April 9, with the launch of its new serial “Sabki Laadli Bebo” and joining hands with the NGO Nanhi Kali.

Lead actor from “Sabki Ladli Bebo”, Kanwaljeet Singh supported the fine cause of educating poor girls in India. The actor further added, “The most beautiful miracles, the greatest joys, the extra sunshine, laughter and happiness, is all because of a daughter in my life.”

According to channel sources, the Laadli Week will see a series of events for raising fund and creating awareness for the Laadli Project. The campaign will be promoted through on-air contests and the viewers would be asked to support the cause.

The viewers will be invited to participate in the contest by sending pictures of their “Laadli” daughters with a message for them and the channel will air the best messages on the show “Sabki Laadli Bebo” during the Laadli Week.

About the show, Kanwaljeet said “It’s a family drama which I’m doing after “Saas” and I’m quite happy that this serial is being connected with the noble cause of educating girl child. I’m happy that with this serial concept now there will be more encouragement for the girl child to be welcomed.”

The show “Sabki Laadli Bebo” is based on a family longing for a daughter and when finally a girl (Bebo) is born, after three boys, their whole life gets filled with happiness and laughter.

The show will be aired on STAR Plus on weekdays at 10 p.m.
