The much hyped reality show 'Big Brother' is axed by the Channel 4 after the race row engulfed the previous series of the reality show. The Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty was bullied by her mates namely Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Mearain in the last session of 'Big Brother' which lead to record 54000 complaints from the people.

On Friday, the broadcaster said it would not screen the show next year even though it attracted record ratings this year. Channel 4 said that the decision was made as part of a programme of "creative renewal".
