Salman, who is in Mumbai after completing his hectic shooting schedule for 'Ek Tha Tiger' in Cuba, has apparently beaten the King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan in charging extravagant remuneration for the endorsement deals.

Earlier, Shahrukh charged around 5 to 6 crores for the endorsements and now even Salman would be charing enormous fee from the brand that he would be soon endorsing.

A source close to Salman has recently revealed that the actor has currently upped his market rates from 5 to 7 crore for per endorsement deal.

“There is no doubt that Salman has charged a bomb for this brand. They were very keen on bringing him on board. It was a lucrative deal.”

“His market value is bigger than any other star at this point. However a lot of family brands do not prefer Salman because of his past reputation. Salman too does not really invest too much time and energy into endorsements. However, a food supplement goes perfectly with his image and personality,” the source further added.

Salman’s 'Dabangg' 2 sold for 50 crore
Taking a cue from the latest buzz, it’s learnt that the satellite rights of Salman’s 'Dabangg 2' has been sold for 50 crore. Star Network has bought the rights of the movie for 50 crore for 11 years.

More importantly T-series, which owns the music rights of film has also sold its rights for over 10 crore.

However when Hemal Jhaveri, President of Star TV Network was quizzed about the satellite rights of 'Dabangg 2' he didn’t divulge much details about the deal.

Salman, who is the face of History channel had recently unveiled HISTORY TV18’s– 'HISTORY Har Din'. When the actor was quizzed about the satellite rights of 'Dabangg 2' at the launch event, the actor denied to reveal much details.
