No Ferrari for Katrina, says Karan Johar

B-town filmmaker Karan Johar denied rumors about gifting the B-town’s ‘Chikni Chameli’ Katrina Kaif a Ferrari.

Shocked by the rumors, Karan said that he would love to acknowledge Katrina’s highly appreciated dance performance in ‘Agneepath’, but not by giving a Ferrari as he cannot afford it.

KJo said, “I wish I could gift Katrina (a Ferrari) but I haven’t. She has been really gracious and we are trying to find means to give her due credit for her song.”

Presently, the 39-year-old filmmaker is quite busy with his upcoming projects, ‘Agneepath’ and ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ slated to hit the theatres on January 26 and February 10 respectively.

Conversing about his forthcoming film ‘Agneepath’, KJo said, “Our Agneepath is completely different from the original. Honestly, it would have been detrimental if we would have tried to make the same film and if our characters spoke the same language. We have reinvented Agneepath in our own way.

“Our Vijay Deenanath Chauhan is more vulnerable and silent than the original.”

“The villain, Kancha Cheena too is more gritty and evil. The love story between Hrithik and Priyanka is more flamboyant than the love story in the original. And, Rishi Kapoor’s character of Rauf Lala, which was not there in the original, is also a highlight in this one,” he added.
