Shilpa Shetty is pregnant! The 36-year-old actress who married London-based millionaire businessman Raj Kundra in November 2009, is reportedly in her second trimester.
Shilpa took to Twitter to break the baby news today, “Tweetos,"YES"an addition 2 r family is r confirmation 2 all queries:)We seek blessings from all in this very beautiful phase of our lives.”
Initially the couple was reluctant to disclose the pregnancy news.
A friend of the actress informed, “Shilpa suffered a miscarriage earlier this year, so this time Raj and she did not want to break the news till the first trimester was complete. Now, she has started telling her close friends."
Earlier in May there were speculations that the actress has a bun in her oven. Fed up with congratulatory messages, the actress had then tweeted, “Sick and tired of all the congratulatory messages and calls. So, for the last time, 'I am not pregnant'. All this is so annoying...grrrrrrrrr."
Raj taking care of wife?
The actress, who is a fitness freak and has one of the best bodies in Bollywood, is taking good care of herself.
Buzz has it that Raj is spending as much time as possible with wifey to ensure that she has a successful pregnancy this time.
The couple is expecting their first child somewhere between March and May 2012.
On receiving the good news, Shilpa's filmmaker friend Ken Ghosh tweeted, "So happy for @TheShilpaShetty and Raj -as they are expecting their first child- God bless!”
