In an emotional outburst, Veena’s father Mohammad Aslam recently said that he has disowned his daughter, and she will be strictly punished if she is involved in the nude photoshoot.

The Mirror quoted him as saying, “I have disowned her.”

Apparently, Veena’s father is so miffed with the scandal that he has demanded a promise from Veena to not visit India again once the controversy is sorted out.

“I have severed all ties with her and I don't want her to have any share in whatever meagre assets I have until she is cleared of the controversy and pledges not to visit India again,” he said.

Aslam even expects Veena to be punished, if found guilty, “so that no other woman would think of doing such thing”.

“I can ignore if she disobeys me but I cannot tolerate anything against my country and my faith,” he added.

Though Veena has sued the men’s lifestyle magazine FHM for publishing her morphed image, FHM has claimed the photoshoot to be real and said it has video evidence of the shoot.

There have also been reports that Pakistani authorities intend to “pursue the matter” legally and take “strict action” against Veena if it gets proven that the photo is real.
