The actor added fuel to the fire that is the hype around his relationship with his co-star Anushka Sharma as he stated that they are just good friends, and that he considers the actress as his senior and confidant.

“She is my senior and she taught me how to be spontaneous and chill out. I confide in her and talk to her about every single thing,” he said.

'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl', releasing this Friday, would be the second film in which the actors share screen space after ‘Band Baaja Baarat’, which became a big hit for their crackling onscreen chemistry.

However, he did let out something that can cause ears to prick up.

“Now that I know her well enough as an actor, I can read even the smallest thing on her face and tell what she's going to say next,” Ranveer said.

The actor said that Ricky is neither a Casanova nor a heart breaker.

“Ricky Bahl is a man who loves to con women, fool them and run away with their money. He is not a Casanova or a heart breaker. He has a natural skill of charming the ladies and he thinks why not use his natural skill and get some money from them?

“His purpose is not to break hearts or be a Casanova but money is his main focus. He does not play with emotions,” Ranveer said.
