The 'Top Gun' actor stated that he had always wanted to see the Taj and as expected he was awed by the beauty of one of the the most admired world’s heritage site.

“Stunning. I love being here and always wanted to see the Taj,” Tom Cruise stated. Incidentally, all the arrangements for the 49-year-old Hollywood actor’s visit had been arranged by Archaeological Survey of India.

Tom to meet Bollywood actors
Anil Kapoor who has worked with Tom in the fourth installment of 'Mission Impossible' will co-host a high profile bash along with Viacom 18 for the Hollywood actor at Taj Rooftop in Colaba, Mumbai.

A source revealed that there will be nearly 200 guests for Anil’s big bash and the guest list is going to be the who who’s of Bollywood, businessmen, and politicians.

"Tom is a really cool guy. When Anil asked him whom he'd like to meet from Bollywood and from other walks of life he said, 'No one and everyone'. Tom says he's on a mission to promote Mission Impossible.”

"In Mumbai, Kapoor is expected to whisk Tom for a brief visit to see his home and meet his family -- again Tom's wish. Then, Tom checks into his hotel, prepares for the party which is expected to last for no more than two hours. He says he wants to be fresh for the fan interaction on Sunday," said the source.

Meanwhile, the important part of the itinerary in India for the Hollywood actor is to have a fan interaction apart from visiting the Taj Mahal.

Tom staying in 10 lakh presidential suite
The Hollywood actor has booked a suite in the Taj Mahal Palace in Colaba which costs about 20 lakhs for two nights.

The actor would be staying in the presidential suite which had earlier hosted US President Barrack Obama and Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie during their Mumbai visit.
