Shriya was getting ready for the scene in the vanity van when the mob came, and disrupted the shooting when she refused their demands.

The Telangana supporters had asked the actress to say 'Jai Telangana' in front of the camera. But she refused. As a result, they attacked her car.

The 'Sivaji: The Boss' actress wrote on Twitter, “How can they break my car, throw stones,stop shoot and threaten me to say Jai Telangala on TV. That to in broad day light,Police staring at all of this!what about freedom? Safety?' Thank god the stone didn't hit me. Both the windows are broken. Seriously!I'm disgusted.”

“I'm born in India and I deserve my freedom and safety is my right!” she added.

Shriya has even posted the picture of the damaged car window on the micro-blogging site.

Soon she was rushed back to her hotel. “I'm alright. In hyderabad. Sort of scared,” Shriya tweeted.
