Kangana Ranaut: The first ever Indian Super Girl

Kangana Ranaut has played a variety of roles in her Bollywood career so far. And now the lady has bagged another enviable role in Rakesh Roshan’s much talked-about sequel to the super hero movie ‘Krrish’. The sci-fi movie ‘Krrish 3’ will have Kangana play the first ever Indian ‘super girl.’

Kangana experiments again
Kangana has, so far, proved her worth in her movies, having played a variety of characters very convincingly. Be it the role of the drug addict wife of a Don in ‘Gangster,’ a fashion diva in ‘Fashion’ or the bubbly Tanu in ‘Tanu weds Manu,’ the curly haired actress has been applauded for her abilities.

Still, her role in the ‘Krrish’ sequel is going to be a challenging one for the actress.

Playing a super hero role will be a demanding task, and the actress is, reportedly, busy taking lessons in physical training, including training in martial arts.

Kangana was the original choice
The actress had turned down the role due to date issues when it was offered to her around six months back.

Roshan senior found it difficult to find another actress who could fit the character, and finally went back to his original choice.

This time Kangana happily grabbed the role, as the shooting of her film, ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ has been pushed to 2012. And with the shooting of ‘Krrish 3’ being moved to December 2011, the actress could take up the role in the sci-fi flick.

Both the actress and Rakesh Roshan were reportedly very happy with this development.

Now that Kangana has been finalised for the film, she will certainly be looking forward to it as the movie will open an entirely new avenue for her.

The movie stars Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, and Vivek Oberoi.
