Taking a cue from the latest rumors, it’s heard that Sonakshi has walked out of the film citing date issues since she would have to start work on ‘Dabangg 2’ soon.

A source revealed that the makers were in search of a young and attractive actress to replace Sonakshi and it appears that they found Jacqueline Fernandez a perfect fit for the role.

“Everyone knows that Jackie is no longer doing ‘Krissh 2’, but few know that the reason she opted out was because she is set to sign Race 2, where she has a meatier role. The role requires a young and glamourous girl for the action thriller, and the producers feel that after Sona, Jackie is the next best option.

"It's a prestigious film for her and currently she is working out dates and money issues. Her boyfriend Sajid Khan apparently advised her to step out of ‘Krissh 2’ as he felt the role wasn't good enough,” said the source.

Deepika didn’t want to work with Sonakshi in 'Race 2'?
There had been rumors doing the rounds that Deepika, who is also another female lead in 'Race 2', was not quite happy to share screen space with Sonakshi Sinha.

And speculations are rife that this could be the reason Sonakshi took an exit from the film and she has now been replaced by Jacqueline Fernandez!

Talking about the sudden change in the casting, producer Ramesh Taurani stated, “Yes, Jacqueline has been roped in to replace Sonakshi, as there were some date problems. In fact, we had postponed the film earlier and hence Sonakshi had date problems as they were clashing with her shoot dates for 'Dabanng 2'. Besides we think that Jacqueline will be perfect for the role and also the fact remains that she is a good actress.”

It’s reported that the shooting of ‘Race 2’ would go on roll from the first week of next month and the film would be released in November 2012.
