The actor-producer Arbaaz Khan has confirmed that the second installment of the flick will hit screens on December 21, 2012.

Arbaaz took to his Twiiter feed stating, "'Dabangg 2' starts March 2012 and releases on 21 Dec 2012!!!"

Speculations are rife that 'Dabangg 2' will feature South Indian actor Prakash Raj in pivotal role.

Further, the flick will have the same cast that includes Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Sonu Sood.

Salman overprotective about Katrina
Buzz has it Salman and Katrina have been getting close ever since they started working for Kabir Khan’s 'Ek Tha Tiger' in Dublin.

Salman, who seems to be enjoying every bit working for the Yash Raj banner, has been taking care of Katrina and making her feel at ease on the sets.

Talking about Salman bonding with Katrina, a source said, “Katrina was apprehensive about how Salman would behave on their first film together after the break-up. He has always been unpredictable. But he's been looking after her, making sure she's comfortable. He has been protective towards Katrina."

Salman and Katrina may not be in a relationship after their breakup, however both of them seem to be having a good time shooting together for the film.

“They are having a ball together, and they deserve it. It's been a stressful time for both. For Salman, on the health front, and for her, because she's been overworked. We are shooting nights here in Dublin, and that's tough on Katrina, but great for Salman. He is a 'night person," stated the source.
