During a recent visit to North India, the Sri Lankan beauty was quite candid about her stint in ‘Murder’ sequel and her upcoming movies.
“Murder 2 turned the spotlight on me and I got noticed for my work,” said the actress who has baffed a role of a baddie in ‘Krrish 2’ and is also working in sequels of 'Housefull', 'Raaz' and 'Total Dhamaal'.
Calling herself unconventional, she said she would like to do, “Something like the youth of today. I don’t want to play safe.”
Only big banners for me, she says
Though she is willing to take risks, the actress also makes it clear that she wants to do only big banner films.
"Big banners make me feel in safe hands. Also in multi-starrers, there is far less stress. In Houseful 2, we are four women actors and it was a lot of fun,” she said.
On brushing her language skills, Jacqueline said, “I am taking Hindi reading and writing classes and hope to be a pro soon.”
Jacqueline is a writer
According to sources, Jacqueline not only acts, but she also has a writer’s spark in her.
"She's a beauty with brains though most people only identify with her sex appeal. Not many know that she used to write a weekly column for an international newspaper before making it in the film industry,” informed an insider.
“In the column, Jackie voiced her opinion not only on fashion and beauty but on current day-to-day issues as well,” the source revealed.
Well, she may try her hand on writing a script too someday when she probably gets tired of acting. Till then, we wish her luck.
