Shetty, who delivered the laugh riots like, ‘Golmaal’, Golmaal Returns’, ‘Sunday’, ‘All the Best’, and ‘Golmaal 3’, has decided to direct an action film post the success of his Ajay Devgan-starrer ‘Singham’.

Rohit to work with SRK
As per reports, a production house had signed on Rohit to direct Shahrukh in the remake of Gulzar’s evergreen comedy flick ‘Angoor’.

Rohit was to make the movie with SRK, Kareena, and Tusshar Kapoor.

However, the plan has been dropped as post ‘Singham’, the director is more inclined towards the action genre.

The one thing that remains unchanged, though, is the presence of King Khan in Rohit’s next.

SRK too wants more action
After ‘Ra.One’ and ‘Don 2’, Shahrukh is equally eager to do another action movie, and has already given Rohit his dates in May.

Rohit will now be making an action film with Shahrukh.

Rohit always loved the action genre
A source said, “Rohit Shetty has always harboured this wish to direct action films. His debut flick, ‘Zameen’, which was an action packed project, failed to generate the expected response at box office.

“He then made a comedy, ‘Golmaal’… With the spate of successful comedies, Rohit got typecast as a comic filmmaker.

“After the success of ‘Singham’, Rohit has established himself as a successful action filmmaker as well… Rohit will now make a romantic action flick.”

The combination of Rohit Shetty and Shahrukh will certainly be something to look forward to.
