Well, earlier the filmmaker and the actor had performed Ganesh Aarti and now it’s learnt that Imtiaz is planning releasing the music of his approaching venture at the Nizamuddin Dargah, in the capital.

The makers have even shot a qawwali sequence at the Dargah, and insiders have revealed that Imtiaz has been a frequent visitor at the holy place during the making of the film to seek blessings for his upcoming film.

Explaining how special the Dargah is for the ‘Rockstar’ team, Dargah in-charge Syed Afsar Ali Nizami said, "Imtiaz bhai has shot the qawwali at the dargah and even Rahman bhai has a very special place for it in his heart. The dargah features in the movie too, and we hope for the success of its music."

Sources close to the film unit have informed that the music launch of ‘Rockstar’ will take place apparently by end of month end.

The event will be graced by director Imtiaz Ali, protagonist Ranbir Kapoor and some other members of the ‘Rockstar’ unit.

Though it's not sure whether eminent music composer A.R. Rahman who has compiled the piece of music for the venture will attend the launch, the filmmakers are trying their best to convince him to grace the event.

According to reports, a qawwali from the film is to be performed at the Dargah on the occasion.

Helmed by the ‘Jab We Met’ fame director Imtiaz Ali, ‘Rockstar’ features Ranbir Kapoor, Nargis Fakhri and Aditi Rao Hydari.

Bollywood legend Shammi Kapoor, who is no longer with us, also has a special appearance in the film.

The film has been co-produced by Eros International Ltd. and Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. and is scheduled to release on Nov. 11.

‘Rockstar’ has been extensively shot in New Delhi, Czech Republic, Italy, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Mumbai.
