I play a completely mad, very bindass girl in MBKD—Katrina

After garnering humongous accolades for her last venture ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, B-town damsel Katrina Kaif is all set to win hearts again with her new rock chic avatar in her latest outing ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’.

The Brit-Indian bombshell, who is still working hard to perfect her Hindi, in a recent one-to-one with the tabloid, got candid about her character in the movie and stated that she plays a completely mad and bindaas girl’s role.

Expressing her excitement over teaming up with YRF, Kat said, “It was my dream to work in a Yash Raj film. It is a romantic comedy, very exaggerated...tongue-n-cheek.”

“I play Dimple in the movie...she is completely mad and is very bindass. In fact it took me a while to completely feel the madness but I guess that is the challenge," she added, when asked about the role she plays in MBKD.

Katrina: Every film of my own is a little battle of its own
Till date, Katrina has been truly lucky at the professional front. More than half of the films which she has done up to now have been a hit with the audiences.

Talking about her successful career, the hottie stated that whenever she signs a film, she makes sure to work harder for it, so that her latest undertaking turns out to be better than her previous one.

When asked about her secret of success, the actress said, "The way I approach my films, each of them has to be a separate entity in itself. To start a film, do it well, promote it to the fullest, get it up for release and then to see that it gets accepted by the audience - there are challenges at every juncture. Really, every film of my own is a little battle of its own.”

I was quite apprehensive about sporting a rockstar avatar, says Kat
The ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ sizzler Katrina Kaif’s rockstar avatar in MBKD has become the talk of the town ever since the release of the film’s posters and theatrical trailers.

When asked how it was sporting a rockstar avatar, the actress said, "I was quite apprehensive about it. I had an issue with the heavy Punjabi lyrics which I could not understand. But everyone convinced me. To add a touch of reality, I learnt to play the guitar and it helped me to portray the act convincingly."

Hope this film adds to your kitty of success Kat!!
