Bebo further added that ever since the film was scripted, the makers of ‘Heroine’ were eager to rope her in.
When asked to react to the reports about Ash being upset with her, the ‘Bodyguard’ actress said, "Madhur and the film corporation were very keen that I should be in Heroine. The film was written for me originally.''
The size-zero babe even denied being aware of the Bachchan Bahu’s sour feelings for her.
Ash was going to resume shooting for ‘Heroine’ post delivery?
Scuttlebutt has it that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is expecting her first bundle of joy, was going to resume shooting for Madhur’s ‘Heroine’ post delivery.
However, now as Kareena has given the green signal to play the leading lady in Madhur’s suspended project, there is no scope for Ash to get back on board.
And apparently, this has soured the relation between the two top-notch Bollywood actresses.
A source, as quoted in TOI, said, "Ash is rumoured to be upset with Bebo. Just the fact that Bebo decided to walk into a project that Ash was meant to resume post her maternity leave is reportedly the reason for the stress.''
‘Heroine’ to go on floors in November
After all the hype and hullabaloo, Madhur Bhandarkar’s pet project ‘Heroine’ is apparently all set to go on floors in November.
Confirming the same, a source close to the filmmaker said, “Yes, we are finally going on floors in November. There have been some alterations in the script, but no major modifications. Kareena and Madhurji share a great rapport and she has met with him about four times.”
At the outset, Madhur had approached Kareena to play the protagonist in his film, but due to her packed date diary, the hottie couldn’t sign the venture.
Then Aishwarya was roped in for the project, but the moviemaker turned unlucky again as the actress was discovered to be pregnant after some days of the shoot.
The film was shelved for a brief period, when finally Bebo agreed to play Madhur’s heroine in ‘Heroine’.
