Imran Khan steps into Salman’s shoes

Actor Imran Khan has come up with a rather unique way to show his gratitude towards Salman. As the Bollywood superstar has flown to U.S. for a nerve surgery, the younger Khan has decided to follow 'Bhai's' tradition and watch the former’s latest release ‘Bodyguard’ first day first show at a Bandra theatre.

Imran to watch the movie with Salman's fans
Ardent Salman Khan fans will indeed be dismayed as the Bollywood superstar will not be able to watch the movie with them first day first show. Every year, Salman makes it a point to watch the first show of his Eid releases at Bandra’s Gaiety Galaxy theatre. But this year things turned out to be otherwise as the actor had to fly to the U.S. in order to treat a nerve disorder.

Salman fans, however, have reason to cheer. Imran Khan, the teenage heartthrob, offered to maintain the tradition by watching the much-awaited flick with all the Salman fans. “Salman Khan goes to Gaiety Galaxy every Eid. He interacts with the audience as well. It's kind of a ritual and all his fans wait for this day. However, this year he is not in Mumbai. Imran Khan has decided to go and meet the audience on Salman's behalf. He wants to do this for Salman,” a close source divulged.

This is my way to show gratitude: Imran
Imran was invited to the special screening of ‘Bodyguard’ which was held on Sunday by Salman. However, he was unable to attend it as he was busy in the promotion of his latest flick, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'.

Nevertheless, he decided to catch the movie in a rather special way with all the die-hard Salman fans on the day of its release.

“Salmanbhai has always been very supportive. He stood by me when my films released - starting with Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na to Delhi Belly. This is my way to show gratitude in whatever little way I can,” the 28-year-old actor said.
