By giving the green signal for this profit sharing contract, Kareena has now joined the league of the big Khans namely, Salman, Shahrukh, Aamir and Imran, as till date only the Khans have had a share in the profits of their films.
A source close to the film unit told Mumbai Mirror, "Kareena had earlier demanded Rs 8 crore. After several meetings, she has now decided to slash her fee. However, she will now be a part of the profit sharing rights. The producers have worked it out in a way that Kareena ends up getting Rs 8 crore out of the project."
However, neither filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar nor heroine Kareena Kapoor was available for confirmation.
Kareena talks about her upcoming film ‘Bodyguard’
This Eid, Kareena will be seen opposite Salman in ‘Bodyguard’, and she seems to be quite upbeat about it.
Talking about her role in the film, the actress said that her character in ‘Bodyguard’ is important as the film could not have been possible without the heroine.
Revealing further about ‘Bodyguard’, Bebo stated that the film, which chronicles a special love story, has a lot of emotions and drama.
“Bodyguard is a film with a soul. It’s a love story with lots of emotions and drama. If you take the girl out of it, there is no film. I won’t do a film where I might get lost. I am not gung-ho about song and dance.
“When Salman saw the South version of Bodyguard, he told the producer (Agnihotri) that only Kareena could fit the heroine’s role. After the success of Dabangg and Ready, Salman is poised for a hat trick. I think I have answered your question (smiles),” Kareena told Mid-Day.
Saif and I are definitely going to marry—Kareena
When fans and well-wishers are eager to know about Bebo’s marriage plans with Saif, the bombshell, in a recent conversation with Mid-Day, confirmed that she will certainly tie the knot with Chotey Nawab.
However, at present, both of them are busy with the work commitments and as such they are yet to decide the date for wedding.
Bebo said, “Doesn’t every woman want to take her relationship to the next level? Saif and I are definitely going to marry. We just don’t want to talk about it right now. It’ll take away the focus from the good work we are doing currently.”
