RGV’s upcoming film ‘Not A Love Story’ is apparently based on the Neeraj Grover murder, and the accused Jerome is scared that he would be painted in a negative way in the film.
RGV would reply to the notice in a few days
‘Not A Love Story’ is solely inspired by the Neeraj Grover murder case and Jerome fears that this would tarnish his family’s image.
Meanwhile, the legal notice that Jerome has sent asserts that the filmmaker should get his consent before the release of ‘Not A Love Story’ and also remove the false facts from the film.
Confirming about the legal notice that Jerome has sent, RGV stated, “After Maria, I have received a similar legal notice from Emile Jerome and he has asked me to stop the release of the film. He has demanded that I seek his consent before the release of the film. I am not going to halt the film’s release at any cost. There’s no question of showing the film to either of them.”
The filmmaker also said that he has consulted his lawyers on the notice and they are apparently studying it and would give the reply in a few days.
Jerome has cautioned producer Sunil Bohra also
Apart from sending a legal notice to Ram Gopal Varma, Jerome has also cautioned producer Sunil Bohra to axe the false facts from the movie.
Irked about the legal notice, Bohra said that the upcoming film ‘Not A Love Story’ is a work of fiction and it’s not the story of Jerome and Maria.
“My film is a fictional one. I don't know why, first Maria and now Jerome have sent us legal notices. As I had said earlier, we have nothing to do with any person living or dead,” said the producer.
