Before becoming a Bollywood biggie, Aishwarya Rai's voice was rejected in an audition for voice...

Reportedly, the ‘Aarakshan’ star Amitabh, who plays the role of a principled college principal in the flick, while promoting the film in Patna on Wednesday, stated that every national should be treated equally, but at the same time, underprivileged should be helped.
The megastar further stated that reservation is a constitutional reality in India and we need to accept it.
Big B told TOI, "Every citizen should get equal attention and opportunity. Those hailing from humble background should be provided due prop."
He added, "Such questions would continue to arise but reservation is a constitutional reality in our country and we will have to accept it."
'Aarakshan' team can’t conduct debate in DU
It seems the stars are not in favour of Prakash Jha and his ‘Aarakshan’ team right now. Well, while Jha’s latest venture is all complete and ready to hit the screens on Aug. 12, the team is facing a real tough time promoting it.
Apparently, first the Lucknow University denied Big B permission to conduct seminar based on reservations, and now it’s the Delhi police that has barred the team from holding a debate in DU.
Talking about the difficulties he is facing while promoting his film, a displeased Jha told IANS, "It's the umpteenth time that they have not given permission to us. They say 'sensitive subject hai, mushkil hoga'. It's completely their prerogative. What can we say here? Kitni baar yehi ho chuka hai. Mujhe toh samajh mein nahi aata kyun.
“The college authorities had given us permission and were very helpful, but the police have said no once again. Last year too, SRCC had given us permission. But this time, the police said security and subject, dono sensitive hain."
Jha with his team including Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Prateik Babbar had plans of holding a debate on commercialization of higher education, at the Hindu college, Delhi.
We are looking for an alternative location -- Jha
Despite the controversies and bans, the ‘Aarakshan’ filmmaker Praksah Jha has not given up hope.
Though denied permission to conduct debate in DU, Jha doesn’t want to give up. Consequently, the moviemaker is hunting for some other location in Delhi to carry out his debate on ‘Aarakshan’.
"We don't want to cancel our plans. The topic is relevant for students and we need to hear their views too. We are already looking for an alternative location. It could be another academic institution or some other open venue in Delhi," stated Jha.
