I will be Darling D, says Dharmendra


Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, who is making his first foray into TV as one of the judges for the talent hunt show ‘India’s Got Talent’ recently gave himself a new nickname.


During the launch, the 75-year old actor who was in his lively and entertaining best in the company of the other two judges Sonali Bendre and Kirron Kher, asked everyone to call him Darling D.

“Amitabh (Bachchan) is now Big B. I cannot be Big D, but I will be the Darling D,” said Dharmendra.

India’s Got Talent on Colors is a reality show that hunts talent by giving every person an opportunity to showcase their talent.

And speaking about the show, Dharmendra said, “A talent hunt made me who I am today so it's my turn to help contestants in pursuing their dreams. I feel there is so much of talent in our country which needs to be exploited. I see one Dharmendra in all the contestants on the show.”

Dharamji is wonderful, says Sonali
Sonali is happy to be back as a judge for the talent show for the third consecutive season, and this time around she is even more excited about Dharmendra’s presence on the show.

“Dharamji is wonderful. He’s one of the most genuine people I have come across. Sometimes, he just can’t say no, and it’s very endearing.”

“He (Dharmendra) is an asset for the show. He is very nice person and he cannot say no to people. My mother and mother-in-law are his big fans. His 50 years of experience will helps us learn a lot from him. It teaches you so much,”, said Sonali.

Kher heaps praises on Dharmendra
After Sonali expressed her love for the veteran actor, Kiran Kher was not behind as she heaped praises on the 70s romantic hero.

Kher who has worked with Dharmendra in Apne stated that she is a huge fan of the actor and had a wonderful time working with him.
