The ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ actor-producer Farhan Akhtar, who is on cloud nine after his film saw a good opening at the box-office, recently thanked his dad and renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar for penning down the lovely lyrics for the movie.
Expressing his gratitude for his father, Farhan tweeted, "It's so fantastic that everyone loves the poems in ZNMD. Thank you pa @Javedakhtarjadu for injecting soul into the film with your gifted hand."
ZNMD, helmed by Farhan’s sister and ‘Luck By Chance’ fame director Zoya Akhtar, features Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and Kalki Koechlin in lead roles.
The movie hit the silver screens on Friday, July 15, and as per the box-office reports, it is faring well.
KJo urges moviegoers to watch Zoya’s ZNMD
Eminent filmmaker Karan Johar has been so impressed with Zoya Akhtar’s latest release ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ that he has personally urged the moviegoers to watch the film.
Recommending ZNMD, Karan posted on his Twitter account, "Please go watch ZNMD....NOW!!!! Zoya has pulled off a tough genre with utmost sincerity and flamboyance...zoya is the hero of the film!!!,(Sic)."
Farhan wishes to have a music band
Buzz has it that actor cum filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, son of the distinguished lyricist Javed Akhtar, wants to have a music band of his own.
Articulating his desire for a music band, Farhan posted, "Well I'd like to have a music band of my own."
Farhan has not only acted and made films, but he has also lent his voice for a couple of songs in movies.
The multifaceted Farhan’s crooning skills were seen and loved by fans in ‘Rock On’.
In the just released film ZNMD also, Farhan has sung the song ‘Senorita’ along with co-stars Hrithik and Abhay.
