The whole chaos started when Pandit Bhagwat Guruji, who was hired to play the role of a pandit in the reel marriage of John and Genelia during the making of Vipul Shah’s ‘Force’, recently turned up to claim that he had performed genuine marriage rituals for the actors and they are husband and wife now.

However, the ‘Force’ producer Vipul Shah has rubbished the rumors and stated that the pandit is spreading such false stories for publicity and personal gains.

But, the pandit is still hell bent on proving that Genelia is already married to John and, therefore, can’t marry Ritesh now.

Pandit asks for money to stay tightlipped about John-Genelia’s marriage
Meanwhile, sources close to the film unit have revealed that earlier the pandit had asked for monetary compensation to hide the news about John-Genelia’s real marriage on the set of ‘Force’.

But at that time, filmmaker Vipul Shah took it easy and didn’t fulfill the pandit’s demands; so the pandit has now turned up again to blackmail the moviemaker.

An insider disclosed, "The pandit wanted monetary compensation to not raise an alarm over the supposed sampurn shaadi (complete marriage) when it had been shot.

“At that time Vipul had brushed off the pandit's demands. Now when he read about Genelia's purported wedding with Riteish Deshmukh he is looking at a hefty pay-off to not bring up the legal validity and moral sanctity of the filmed wedding.”

Hindu wedding rituals are not applicable to Genelia—Vipul
Tired of the tittle-tattles, the maker of the Genelia-John starrer ‘Force’, Vipul Shah, has said that Genelia is not a Hindu and so the Hindu marriage rituals are not applicable to her and this alleged marriage is not valid.

Miffed with the rumormongers, Vipul said, "I'd like to remind the potential trouble-makers that Genelia is not a Hindu, and therefore the Hindu wedding rituals are not applicable to her."

The producer further stated that he is not behind all these gossips and that he is not doing it for publicizing his next film.

According to Vipul, the pandit might be doing this for fame.
